A developer of boutique hotels has submitted a plan to transform the historic Palmer Building on Hollywood Boulevard into a new hotel.
Orange County-based Artist Guild Hotels is bidding to convert the Prohibition-era Classical Revival building at 6360-6366 Hollywood Boulevard, into a hotel with 87 bedrooms, a rooftop pool, terrace decks and selection of F&B outlets.
Architect Hilda Rodriguez will oversee a seismic retrofit of the building, which is more than 90 years old, and will design a new 10-storey contemporary structure as part of the historic building.
The Palmer Building was constructed by one of Hollywood’s pioneering developer’s, Dr. E. O. Palmer, a founder of the local chamber of commerce.
We at Luxury Group are looking forward and excited about this project
