Los Angeles-based international real estate and investment firm CBRE (Coldwell Banker Richard Ellis) has been awarded the leasing agreement for a potential boutique hotel site in Louisville.
A portion of the downtown lot was built on in 2016, while the rear part is still free for more development.
Barbara Iglesias of CBRE purchased the property two years later.
Speculation says the Louisville site could be a multi-use site, perhaps with a restaurant downstairs and a small number of boutique hotel rooms upstairs.
Housing seven or nine rooms, this would mean the second small hotel in only a block’s radius.
Other speculated uses for the 10,059 sq ft development include office space or shops.
CBRE’s Barbara Iglesias commented: “We are excited to be offering something new to downtown Louisville while also keeping the area’s integrity.”
