LA Tourism Board lands new Europe and Middle East director

The Los Angeles Tourism Board has promoted Hayley French to director of travel trade for Europe and the Middle East.

French, who has been at the LA Tourism Board for 11 years since joining as an office assistant, was originally the manager, travel trade, a role she has held since 2014.

In the role, French will answer to Francine Sheridan, regional director, Europe and Middle East, and will be tasked with growing the LA Insider training programme by developing a plan to get travel agents to complete the online training scheme.

Sheridan said: “I am delighted to promote Hayley into this new role. She has worked incredibly hard over the last decade and has become a respected member of the international team.

“Her progression is testament to her commitment and expertise in working with the travel trade, providing our trade partners with the knowledge and tools to sell the numerous and exciting reasons to visit Los Angeles.”
