LondonHouse Chicago has hired Elizabeth Sweeney as executive chef and Thomas Gorczyca as executive pastry chef.
Sweeney’s experience includes education at the Western Culinary Institute in Portland, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and finally Roosevelt University in Chicago.
She followed this up with positions at Chicago’s Café Ba Ba Reeba and Mon Ami Gabi, as well as the Illinois Institute of Art. This new position will mark her return to Chicago from a stint at Merriman’s Hawaii.
The award-winning Gorczyca attended Baltimore International College. He has since worked at the Hotel Hershey and the Sheraton Harrisburg-Hershey in Pennsylvania.

LondonHouse is situated at 85 E. Upper Wacker Drive, Chicago.
The pair’s new menus can be sampled at Bridges, the hotel’s mezzanine-level lobby lounge, at LH Rooftop on floors 21-23.
