Pearl Hospitality opens Westin Houston hotel in Texas Medical Center building

Pearl Hospitality has redeveloped and opened a hotel in a former office building of the Texas Medical Center.

The 382,000-square foot, 18-story building, built in 1954, now houses the 273-room Westin Houston hotel as well as a pool, lounge, meeting and events space, health club and a host of street-level restaurants.

Pearl Hospitality has also added a level to the Westin Houston Medical Center’s now three-level parking garage.

The hotel has taken inspiration from its medical origins for its simple, clean interior design.

This is the company’s second development in Houston.
