A planning proposal has been submitted to convert a former nightclub in Hollywood into a new hotel.
The application has filed with Los Angeles City Planning by Nittin Patel with NoHo Land and Jamal Firas at Apex Designs.
The plan is to build a 89-bedroom hotel, plus breakfast room and lounge area, as well as a fitness center and swimming pool.
The Luna Mexican Restaurant and Night Club closed its doors in 2016.
The existing 4,898-square-foot building boasts Spanish Colonial Revival architecture which, according to Apex Designs’ website, is the aesthetic of single-family and multifamily residences designed by the firm.
