The long-awaited Hotel Cerro and its new restaurant in Downtown San Luis Obispo, California have opened their doors to the public.
Boutique Hotelier USA reported in December that Hotel Cerro had been given an $11m refurbishment investment by Santa Barbara firm WestPac.
Now welcoming guests, the hotel boasts an edible garden, a rooftop pool and a spa, as well as restaurant The Brasserie.
The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner inspired by French cuisine, as well as vegan options and cocktails.
Passers-by can also buy takeout food like pie from The Brasserie’s walk-up window.
Food and beverage manager Jonathan Bagley-Rowe said: “We saw that San Luis Obispo had a need, we want to be a part of you and hopefully they want to be a part of us. The pricing is accessible, it’s a good value for products with high quality.”
Meanwhile marketing manager Kelsey Prins added: “Our hotel is different in the way that it feels like San Luis Obispo. The edible garden and copper distillery are all different than what most hotels offer.”
