Urban Cowboy on the prowl with third hotel due to open next month

The third Urban Cowboy hotel is to open in Catskill mountains next month.

The new Urban Cowboy Lodge, in 68-acres, has been transformed from the former The Alpine Inn by developers Lyon Porter and his partner Jersey Banks along with co-owner Phil Hospod and will join properties in Brooklyn and Nashville in the Urban Cowboy collection.

The new hotel is spread across five buildings and comprises 28 bedrooms, including 12 suites, The Dining Room restaurant and an Estonian sauna and 75-foot spring-fed pool.

The luxury property has a design that is described as ‘rustic cowboy chic meets Instagram ready, wth bold patterns, repurposed structures and hand-picked Americana antiques.

The food concept will boast a live-fire focused menu with a focus on ‘outdoor cooking with foraged ingredients’.

Each bedroom comes with a private deck, stocked minibar, robes and complimentary Wifi.

There’s also a freestanding cabin that will be available.

Urban Cowboy Brooklyn was the first to open when it launched in 2014, followed by Urban Cowboy Nashville in 2016.
